three in the morning is lame when you have no one the share it with.

Some of my recent thoughts on life:

Change the major? I think so, I love to read but cardboard walls make me break out in hives. I’d rather be walled up in the catacombs of an old mansion over some bottle of liquor.

Sometimes life will give you lemons, and sometimes life will launch them at you with a potato gun, at point-blank range. ouch.

Finding a location for a wedding is tough. Especially when you’re on a "budget" of twenty dollars that you keep in a peanut tin.

Also, trying to lose weight can kill you if you don’t follow the directions. Keep your arms and legs inside the cart at all times, or else you’ll lose a limb.

This is my new idea, lets call it a "wait and see" that way when we look back at it, we can say we did all we could and no one will be able to argue otherwise.

Can I just point out that I really f*n miss you right now?!
Can anybody out there hear me?/ ’Cause I can’t seem to hear myself/ Can anybody out there see me?/ ’Cause I can’t seem to see myself.../ There’s gotta be a heaven somewhere/ Can you save me from this hell?/ Can anybody out there feel me?/ ’Cause I can’t seem to feel myself.

If you should find yourself walking through the forest and you happen upon a stick that reads "The Forbidden Stick Do Not Pick Up Under Penalty of Law" as your legal advisor, I advise you to NOT pick up the stick. However, if you should be as stupid as Timon, and you do pick it up, unlike Pumbaa I will not give away your hiding spot.

That is all, for now.

*This blog post will not make sense to most people.

I’m putting up a losing fight/ I’ll never see this end tonight/ The thought of just one dream it consumes me/ Numbers on the clock turn back, my pills are having no effect/ The beating of my heart keeps the time going/ Back and forth I toss and turn/ It feels like strings are holding up my eyes

More & More Updates

Haven't done a whole lot of knitting, but I did finish the back piece of my tunic! Pictures are a coming attraction as of now.
Nick and I found an apartment! We'll be located at Mill Pond apartments for the summer of '08 and the '08-'09 school year! I already know how I'm going to paint my room!!
I get to go with Christie and get my bridesmaid dress for her and Jon's wedding! I'm excited! And if this diet I'm on goes as planned, I'll be down a dress size by the fitting, and two for the wedding! :)
I would also just say that this semester sucks and I cannot wait for it to be over!
Ta Ta!

Happy New Year!

Thought I'd update on what's going on. New Years Eve looked great! Adam and I had some nice quality alone time ahead of us, and then I got a migraine. The world's longest and most vicious migraine, at that. I was out of commission until 2:30 am. At which point Adam was already tired. What a way to begin a new year, huh? Oh well, with that behind me, My tunic is no where closer to being finished then it was before finals. It's so beautiful though, I'm just going to keep on knitting. I am not looking forward to school. I have a lot of apprehensions about this semester and even the next year. Nick and I are going to get a two bedroom apartment, and hopefully Adam will be able to live with us as well... We're hunting this Saturday for the "one", and then Mommy and Daddy are coming up to visit. I've gotten to the point where I'm taking life a week at a time. I measure everything in weeks. I tell myself in the morning "just 2 more weeks" or whatever I need to to get through school. I used to like to learn, read, and write. But the university has turned this passion against me and makes me use it for evil. I guess that's all for now.

Almost there... almost there...

This is a Christmas present for someone special! It's coming along nicely, even though everything is hibernating until finals are over. Its actually upside down in this picture, but this is the front panel, and the ribbing at the bottom (which is really the top) gets folded over and a drawstring is inserted. I bought this really pretty maroonish lining for it as well...

This is my fingerless glove, it's just like the one I made Kate, except a different color.

Got accepted to Ravelry!

Yay! I got my invite to join Ravelry today, and I love it!!!

I need to update on my knitting for a change, but that would be silly.

Long time gone

It's been a while... There's not really anything new, except that I finished Kate's right glove, I'm about halfway finished with the back panel of my Cable Luxe Tunic, and Adam and my Halloween costumes were awesome! I'll post pictures of my projects later, but for now here is this:

Knitting party!!

Last night, some of my friends and I got together and had a little knitting party! It was a blast! Those who knew how to knit were teaching girls who didn't, and the more advanced knitters were teaching new things to the less advanced knitters! It was fun to get together and share our craft! We had some beautiful projects finished and begun. It was magical! :)

My yoke for my tunic is almost complete! I hope to have it finished today! Then I'm going to finish the other of Kate's gloves. Then I'll start my own!! I bought this lovely burnt orange yarn! It's Cashmerino Aran by Debbie Bliss, and it is pretty much the softest and prettiest yarn I think I have ever seen! I also need to work on my mommy's scarf, Adam's Christmas present (which I haven't begun), and my future-sister-in-law's christmas present as well (pictures to come later on all three of those projects)!!

Well, I had better get knitting! TTFN!!

Knit one, purl two, knit one, purl two...

I've recently fallen in love with knitting all over again. My friends and I stumbled upon a yarn store in Muncie!!! Danner's: Yarns * Gifts * Books! I know where all my paychecks and Christmas presents are coming from!!!

Also, one of my friends introduced me to an online store that makes accesseries for knitters! It's called Blue Kitty Designs. They have lots of pretty things and I've already found some of my friend's Christmas presents!

I also have a love for knittinghelp.com and knitty.com, they are both fantastic sites that I want to share with the world!! I hope you enjoy them and have a great weekend!!!
